  • 6 ounces (¾ cup) White or Reposado tequila
  • 4 oz (½ cup) Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 3 ounces (6 tablespoons) fresh lime juice
  • 2 ounces (¼ cup) simple syrup
  • 4 ½ cups Ice
  • For the rim: kosher salt or pink sea salt

  1. Place the margarita salt on a plate and wet the rims of the glasses (it’s easier to cut a notch in a lime and run it around the glass. Dip the rims in the margarita salt.
  2. Place frozen ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and fluffy. Pour into prepared glasses and serve. Garnish with lime wedges if you like.
