I’m far from the first to come up with the idea of online perfection. These stylized photographs of quinoa bowls, stacks of waffles and crisp white kitchens are an idealized version of reality. These images can depict a myth of perfection. But of course behind each of them there are real people, people with cracks, imperfections and insecurities. People who are simply trying to capture the beauty amidst the imperfections of this life.

I know from experience that behind every beautiful picture there are at least 127 horrific images of the same shot. And I’m sure the lives of the people behind the pictures are riddled with imperfections, just like mine! We are all human. And we all have to eat! So here’s an easy recipe for weeknights when you just have the energy to buy a few simple ingredients at the store. It’s our Thai curry pizza with naan bread, and it’s pretty damn good too.

How to make curry pizza

What is curry pizza anyway? In this recipe, we tried something completely different from the typical way of eating naan and curry. Asian-style pizza isn’t common, but we decided to try something out of the ordinary with this curry pizza recipe. We found that combining Thai curry paste with canned tomatoes makes a super tasty pizza sauce! To give the fillings a touch of Thai curry, we added cashews, chopped spring onions and coriander to the mozzarella cheese. The fillings are very simple but the taste obtained is unique and intense! We’re all about fusion recipes like Greek quesadillas, Mexican pizza and Mexican lasagna, so the Thai curry and pizza fusion hit the spot for us.
