  • Frozen Peaches
  • Frozen mangoes
  • banana (ambient temperature)
  • greek yogurt
  • orange juice (100% juice)
  • milk
  • Ice

Make it dairy free

This Strawberry Peach Smoothie is easy to make as a dairy-free puree. Just substitute the same amount of plant-based milk for the Greek yogurt. Then you may need to add a little more milk to mix it up. We prefer oat milk in smoothies for its creamy texture and neutral taste. But your favorite milk works!

Plus, adding extra protein is helpful when you’re looking for a filling meal replacement smoothie (see below). But if you’re just drinking it as a drink or a treat: it’s not necessary!

Protein additives for a strawberry and peach smoothie

Greek yogurt is great for smoothies as it adds a healthy dose of protein (just like milk!). But if you’re looking to up the ante with protein, we have a few ideas. This is especially useful if you plan on using this smoothie as a meal replacement. Here are a few ideas:

  • Almond butter or cashew butter. 1 tablespoon of nut butter adds 4 grams of protein. It dulls the color and flavor a bit, but it’s still good!
  • Chia seeds. Add protein and fiber with chia seeds! 2 tablespoons of chia seeds add 4 grams of protein and 11 grams of fiber. (See chia seed smoothie.)
  • Vanilla Protein Powder: Protein powder works here too. This is the protein powder we love: it tastes good and isn’t too artificial.
