This bubbly blood orange and rosemary water is perfect for jazzing up a drink recipe without adding any calories! It’s perfect for brunch or a mocktail.
Alex creates the drink recipes in our house (basically all the drinks). So it’s no wonder that this sparkling water made from rosemary with blood orange was invented by him! Alex envisioned this rosemary water as a drink for our vegetarian brunch menu. Blood orange juice has the prettiest electric pink hue, making it lovely alongside other brunch items. It could also work as a kind of mocktail. Sparkling water recipes are our favorite for making delicious drinks without adding lots of calories or sugar. How to make rosemary water
This rosemary water has subtle aromas and a subtle, refreshing taste. Feel free to add more blood orange juice or honey if you’re looking for a more intense flavor. To make our sparkling water, we used ours soda stream (which we’re obsessed with!) We bought it to make healthy alternative soft drinks and ended up falling in love with the refreshing bubbles – we usually mix the water with lemon or lime juice or use it to make drinks like this. You can also use plain or flavored canned sparkling water: just make sure the flavor matches and doesn’t clash with the blood orange and rosemary.

This Blood Orange Rosemary Water was created as a drink (essentially a mocktail!) for our vegetarian brunch menu. We created the brunch menu with our friend Shelly from Vegetarian Ventures. We hope you want to celebrate with your loved ones this Valentine’s Day or any other occasion that calls for a special morning meal. We love this comment from reader Katie on our last brunch post: “Brunch is my favorite meal because it’s casual and usually anything goes, so we can eat sweet and savory at the same time.” It wasn’t what we had in mind, but it did is absolutely true!
