Preparing buttered radishes: some tips
It’s really not a recipe but more of an idea. That said, we have a few picks for the best buttered radishes:
- This is a case where quality butter shines. We don’t eat much butter in our house, but this way of enjoying the latest fruit in our garden is a good thing. We used high quality French butter. If you’re vegan or dairy-free, you can substitute the vegan butter if you’d like.
- source of sea salt. This is a time when sea salt makes a difference. Most of the time we use kosher salt, but sea salt adds a satisfying crunch.
Alex and I decided to make buttered radishes a new springtime tradition! We had a radish and butter date the other day to celebrate the start of gardening season. Sometimes we forget to have appointments. So that was a good excuse for one. This is one of the easiest ways to enjoy radishes. Try it for an effortless snack!
