Can bananas be fed prematurely?

Technically, you can make bananas ahead of time, store them in the fridge, and then reheat them before serving. But bananas lose some of their texture after chilling. Since the cooking time for this one is so short, we recommend preparing it just before serving.

To save time, you can measure out all the sauce ingredients ahead of time. Then all you have to do is peel and slice the bananas, add the sauce ingredients to the pan and heat it up for a few minutes!
