Mango Peach Smoothie

Peaches and mangoes are two of our favorite fruits for smoothie recipes: their sweet, tangy flavor is great for sipping. So put them together and it’s fireworks. Try this Peach Mango Smoothie! It tastes like sunshine, with a wonderfully light flavor and a creamy, thick texture. No additional sweetener needed: the blend of fruit and orange juice in one of our favorite smoothies to date. (And that’s saying something!) We couldn’t get enough.

Ingredients of this Mango Peach Smoothie

This peach mango smoothie has the ideal balance of sweet and tangy flavor and creamy texture, and uses ingredients you may already have on hand. (Of course, that assumes you stock frozen fruit for smoothies: which we do!) Here’s what you need:

  • Frozen Peaches
  • Frozen mangoes
  • banana (ambient temperature)
  • greek yogurt
  • orange juice (100% juice)
  • milk

  • vanilla extract

Mix it up and you have a sunny, beautifully light mash that has the perfect balance of sweet and tart. It’s a favorite here!

Mango Peach Smoothie

Vegan variant

It’s easy to turn this peach mango smoothie into a vegan smoothie! Simply substitute the Greek yogurt for ¼ cup of non-dairy milk and add another splash of milk if needed. Our favorite milk for smoothies is oat milk: it has a nice creamy texture and a neutral taste. Also, we would consider adding any of the following protein supplements to make it more filling!

How to add protein to a peach mango smoothie

Greek yogurt adds a nice dose of protein to this peach mango smoothie. However, you can add extra protein or substitute Greek yogurt if you want to use it as a meal replacement. Here are a few ideas:

  • Chia seeds. Add plant-based protein and fiber with chia seeds! 2 tablespoons of chia seeds add 4 grams of protein and 11 grams of fiber. (See chia seed smoothie.)
  • Almond butter or cashew butter. 1 tablespoon of nut butter adds 4 grams of protein. Keep in mind that this will dull the color and flavor a bit, but it’s still good!
  • Vanilla Protein Powder: Protein powder works here too. We use this protein powder with natural ingredients and love the taste – it’s not too artificial.
