How to Make Mint Lemonade (Basic Steps)
It’s easy to make your own homemade lemonade! The most time consuming part? lemon juice! Here are the basic steps to making this mint lemonade (or jump to the recipe below for the quantities):
- Squeeze lemons. using a Juicer is the fastest way to juice lemons: it extracts most of the juice and saves your fingers from getting tired from squeezing. The next best choice? A portable juicer.
- Mix mint, sugar and water. Give it a boost in the blender.
- Strain twice through a fine sieve! This is the important part. You should strain the liquid twice to avoid the floating sediment that forms from the mixed mint.
- Shuffle the pitcher. Then mix it in a pitcher with the lemon juice and more cold water.
- Garnish with fresh mint! This is also important. Garnishing with another sprig of mint is important to get the right minty flavor in every sip.
