Salmon Seasoning Ingredients

The secret spices in this salmon spice are inspired by a few things. First: Old Bay! It’s a popular seafood spice and we wanted to bring in some of those notes. Alex and I also took inspiration from our blackened spice, which is also often used for salmon. We’ve found a blend that uses the best of all, but without the heat (for added flexibility). To make this blend, simply combine the following ingredients in a clean jar:

  • Smoked paprika* or sweet paprika
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • thyme
  • celery seed
  • cumin
  • pimento
  • Salt
