Anything you do to make DIY Lemon Ginger Tea? Grate fresh ginger root and soak in water. The method we use is for a single serving of ginger tea. Add lemon and honey to taste after adding ginger. Added 1 tablespoon of each resulting in a massive sweet citrus flavor! That’s how it’s done:

  1. Boil 1 cup of water: Boil a pot of water. We use a kettle (we also use it for our morning coffee).
  2. Peel and grate the ginger and place in a tea strainer: Peel the ginger with a spoon and then grate it. Put 1 tablespoon in your tea strainer.
  3. complete it: Fill a cup with boiling water. Leave for 5 minutes.
  4. Add lemon and honey: Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and honey to the jar.

  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 cup (8 ounces) boiling water
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice, freshly squeezed

  1. Boil the water.
  2. Meanwhile, peel the ginger with a spoon and grate finely with a grater or micrograter.
  3. Place the ginger in a tea infuser or infuser and then into a mug. Pour boiling water over it. Let the ginger steep for 5 minutes.
