The absolute best way to make iced coffee at home? Use cold brew. Cold Brew has a smooth, refreshing taste, and even better, it’s a great pitcher that you can drink for days! This cold brew recipe makes 9 servings, which is ideal as you only need to make the concentrate for drinks once throughout the week. All you have to do is make sure you prepare it 24 hours before consuming it! Here’s how to make iced coffee (or read on for a shortcut):

  1. Grind 1 ½ cups of dark roast coffee. Grind the coffee to a medium coarse grind and measure out 1 ½ cups of ground coffee. We’ve found that dark roasted coffee tastes best with a cold brew.
  2. Pour 6 cups of filtered water into a large glass and mix. Add filtered water to the coffee grounds and stir a little.
  3. Store in the fridge and wait 24 hours! This is where the brewing magic happens: And you don’t have to do anything! Just wait while the coffee brews.
  4. Filter the coffee. Pour the coffee into a strainer with a towel. Then your cold brew is ready to drink!
  5. Surcharge: Take ½ cup Cold Brew concentrate and mix with 2 tablespoons milk or cream and 1 teaspoon maple syrup.
