- 1 1/2 books or 3 bundled broccoli
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 lemon
- Preheat a grill to medium-high heat (375 to 450 degrees).
- Wash the broccolini and pat dry with a towel. Snip about 2cm off the ends of the broccolini. In a medium bowl, toss together with the olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper.
- Place the broccolini directly onto the cooking grates and grill until charred and tender, turning frequently, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove when light green and charred.
- Remove from the grill and drizzle lemon juice over half of the lemon wedges. Taste and add a few pinches of kosher salt if needed. (Variation: You can grill lemon slices for 1-2 minutes on each side until grill marks form, then serve with broccolini.)
