How to check the grill temperature: A grill thermometer!
How do I check the temperature of the grill? You will need a grill thermometer for this task. Most grills have built-in grill thermometers. Or you can get a standalone thermometer: they’re cheap and easy to use! Here’s a grill surface thermometer: place it on a rack to monitor the temperature.
What type of grill do you recommend?
There are many types of grills and we have cooked with almost all of them! Here are some pros and cons of each:
- Charcoal grill. The charcoal grill has them better Taste! A charcoal grill is very inexpensive. You need to start the fire with a chimney, and it takes about 30 minutes to preheat.
- gas grill. Gas is faster and easier to use, but the flavor isn’t as good as charcoal. Preheating is also quicker.
- Digital charcoal grill. The grill we have now is a digital charcoal grill: it’s a combination of the taste of charcoal and the ease of use of gas. This is the grill we recommend.
