- 1 small clove of garlic
- 1 cup wrapped basil leaves
- 6 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1½ tablespoons red wine vinegar
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon Sugar
- Peel the garlic clove and place in a food processor*: puree until coarsely chopped. Add the remaining ingredients and toss until the basil is finely chopped and combines into a vinaigrette. Store leftovers in the refrigerator: bring to room temperature before serving.
