Use a small dash of honey (or agave syrup for vegans). While it has a cozy vibe in the fall and winter, it works just as well in the summer if you have plenty of herbs on hand. How to prepare sage tea:

  1. Boil: Boil a pot of water. We use a kettle (which we also use for our morning coffee).
  2. Harvest herbs: Add 2 sprigs of fresh sage.
  3. Soaking: Fill a cup with boiling water. Leave for 5 minutes.
  4. Add sweetener and lemon: Add a dash of honey (or agave) and squeeze lemon juice from 1 lemon slice. This step is necessary for the best flavor, otherwise the sage will be too strong.
