  2. Cut off the top and skin of the pineapple. Next, cut the pineapple into 3/4-inch slices, leaving the core intact. In a bowl, mix the pineapple with the oil and salt.
  3. Place directly on the cooking grates and grill for 3 to 4 minutes per side (6 to 8 minutes total), turning once, until tender and lightly charred.
