EASY Halloween treat! Crispy Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Chips made with flour tortillas, cinnamon, sugar, and butter
One of my mom’s favorite foods is to heat up a flour tortilla, rub some butter over it, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, roll it up, and eat. One of my favorite treats is cinnamon toast.
If you marry the two, you’ll have what is probably the easiest cinnamon sugar cookie, or “crisp.” 4 ingredients. Just a few minutes to make and so good!

Spooky Cinnamon Tortilla Chips
So part of me hesitates to offer yet another sugary Halloween treat. That said, I wouldn’t deny a child (or adult) the sheer indulgence of cinnamon toast, and I have to make the same exception with these cute tortilla chips.
They’re just too good not to enjoy.
I promise I’ll have something low carb, gluten free, paleo and vegan on the site soon to make up for it, but in the meantime I hope you try these chips, they’re GREAT.
“Spooky” Cinnamon Sugar Flour Tortilla Chips
You can double the amount of cinnamon sugar and butter for easier dipping and dredging.
ingredients
-
1/4 Cup sugar
-
1 1/2 teaspoon Cinammon
-
4 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
-
2 flour tortillas
method
-
Cut wedges or shapes from each flour tortilla:
Cut each flour tortilla into 6 to 8 wedges or use a pastry cutter to cut shapes into the tortillas.
-
Prepare the oven and baking sheet:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
-
Dip tortilla pieces in melted butter, then dip one side in cinnamon sugar, place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper:
Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and spread over the bottom of a small plate. Melt butter in a small bowl.
Dip the sliced flour tortilla pieces into the melted butter, gently shaking off the excess, and place on the cinnamon-sugar plate. Spread the crisps with cinnamon sugar on one side only.
Then place the coated tortilla pieces, cinnamon-sugar side up, on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
-
Bake:
Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, or until the tortilla chips are actually “crispy.” Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes.
