Ever find it difficult to eat all of your recommended daily servings of fruits and vegetables every day? Sometimes I do. And I admit it. I’m a little late to the game on this one.
The addition of plain Greek yogurt along with the fruit and spinach boosts the protein content, making this smoothie an easy and filling meal. You can also sneak in all sorts of other goodies.
Many parents find green smoothies to be an enticing way to get their little ones to eat an extra helping of greens.

Quick and easy green smoothie
If you use canned pineapple, you can also add the juice for a sweeter tasting smoothie.
ingredients

1 medium ripe banana

1 cup fresh, canned, or frozen pineapple

3 large handfuls of fresh spinach (washed)

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

6 ounces. water
method

Combine the ingredients:
Place banana, pineapple, spinach, Greek yogurt, and water in a blender. Mix until smooth. Enjoy!
