Fresh Pea Hummus
Fresh Pea Hummus

Looking for a fresh, new dip? Fresh Pea Hummus is a flavorful, vibrant dip or spread made with peas, tahini, sour cream, and mint.

My mom has always delighted in the mint patches that flourish around the edges of her home. “It keeps the ants away!” she insists.

I have no idea if this really works, but with her advice firmly etched into the core of my being, I too cultivate mint spots here and there.

This is an easy dip made with peas and mint and some onion, sour cream and tahini.

“Hummus” implies you’re using chickpeas, so we’re taking liberties with the name by using regular peas as the base legume instead of chickpeas.

It’s fresh and spring-like with peas and mint. Serve with pita chips or toasted slices of baguette.
