Compound butter with cilantro and lime! Great with corn on the cob, veggies, shrimp, or steak!
A compound butter or herb butter is a great way to flavor corn on the cob, all kinds of vegetables, chicken, fish, shrimp, pork, steak, etc.
What is a compound butter? It’s simply butter mashed and mixed with herbs or spices, which then flavor the butter. You can either use it right away or wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for later. Simply cut into slices to season steaks, chicken, shrimp, vegetables or pasta.
